Android privacy policy
BurstReel turns the photos you choose into videos on your Android device.
No app account, cloud sync, advertising, tracking, analytics SDK, or developer-operated upload service. The app does not send your photos, logos, videos, or projects to Kazōbe.
This policy covers BurstReel for Android, this Android support site, and information you choose to send to Kazōbe LLC for support.
Photos, logos, and projects
The app reads JPEG and PNG files that you select with Android's photo or document picker, or explicitly share with BurstReel. It makes private local copies and stores project names, photo filenames, frame order, video settings, and saved logos on your device. Filters, alignment, thumbnails, and video rendering run on your device.
The app does not require broad photo-library or storage access. It does not request your contacts, location, microphone, camera, or advertising identifier. File and photo providers you choose may download files through their own services; those providers' privacy settings apply.
Saving and sharing
Save video writes an MP4 to Movies/BurstReel on your device. Export to Files writes a video to the destination you choose; a selected file provider may offer its own cloud storage. BurstReel does not change your original photos.
Sharing grants the receiving app temporary access to the video you choose. The receiving app or service handles that video under its own privacy policy. Social-sharing shortcuts open the chosen destination; they do not post automatically. You control whether to finish a share or upload in another app.
Local storage, retention, and deletion
Projects and saved logos are stored in Android's private app storage. Projects stay there until you delete them. Deleting a project removes its project record and photo copies that are no longer used by another project or a saved logo. Saved logos remain available until you remove them from Saved creator logos; a logo still used by a project can remain with that project.
Preview and temporary share files are cached locally. Android may clear cache files, and BurstReel limits its preview cache. Old temporary share copies are removed during later sharing operations. Clearing the app's storage or uninstalling it removes its private projects, logos, and cache. Original photos and exported videos remain in their original or chosen destinations; delete those separately if desired.
BurstReel excludes its private data from Android cloud backup and device-transfer backup. Version 1 has no project synchronization or project backup service. Keep exported videos separately. Android's app-storage protections and your device security settings protect local files.
Support information
If you email hello@kazobe.com, Kazōbe uses the email address, message, and attachments you choose to send to answer your request. Email providers process messages to deliver and store that correspondence. Do not send private photos or sensitive information unless needed for your question. You can contact the same address to ask about or request deletion of support information you supplied.
This website
This site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Loading a page sends technical request information, such as your IP address, requested URL, browser information, and request time, to the hosting provider so it can deliver and protect the website. Cloudflare may use security cookies or challenges depending on its security settings. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
These pages have no advertising, website analytics integration, or contact form. Images and styling are served with this site. Opening an email link opens your email app; no message is sent until you choose to send it. Visiting this site does not give Kazōbe access to your BurstReel projects or photo library.
Changes and contact
We will update this policy if the Android app's data practices change. For privacy questions, contact Kazōbe LLC at hello@kazobe.com. Kazōbe cannot directly delete files held only on your device or by a file provider you selected.
